Finally Figuring out the video on my new camera . . .

Noah started walking on January 6th 2011 . . . 1 day before he turned 10 months old. I know it's old news now, and he's walking like a professional already, but I just figured out how to post video, and wanted to post this one of him when he was just learning to walk!

And, as long as I'm posting old videos, here is a short clip of part of Emma's Christmas Program at school.

Lindsay's broken arm

Not really such big news since she has gotten a cast on one arm or the other every year for the past 3, but STILL it is a broken arm, so it's noteworthy! :-)

On Friday the 28th of January we had a beautiful, sunny almost summery day, so the kids and I all went outside after school to play in the nice weather. Lindsay was going super fast on her little, Pink Barbie scooter and not paying attention and then she hit a patch of rocks and flew over the top of the scooter and landed on her left arm. We weren't sure it was broken right away, so we just kept ice on it and watched it overnight, but the next morning we went in to urgent care (why can't she ever break herself on a Monday or a Tuesday? . . . it's always got to be Friday). They determined it was broken and thought she would need emergency surgery, so they sent us up to the ER to see an orthopedist. Fortunately it didn't end up requiring surgery. But, the end result is this lovely green cast (she had purple the last two times, so we had to try something different this time), and a 7 year old who vows she's going to be more careful . . . turns out broken arms really aren't very much fun . . . poor kiddo!!

Emma's 6th Birthday!!

Ok, I know it's been a month and a half, but Emma did have a very fun birthday, so I thought I'd share some pictures!

This year was her family party, so it was just the family and one friend (Ella). We played lots of games and had pizza and a pink puppy dog cake with strawberry icecream for dessert!
